September 3, 2017 – Shanghai,  The opening ceremony of BRICS Business Forum 2017 was held in Xiamen International Exhibition Center at 3:30 this afternoon.  "Enhance the BRICS partnership, open up a brighter future" is the theme of the ninth BRICs leaders meeting, which is practically important for Chinese chemical industry to go to the world.

The BRICS have over 40% of global population thanks to China and India, the two countries with largest population.   After10 years of development, BRICS GDP rose from 12% to 23% of total global GDP. The rapid population growth inevitably brings about strong growth of needs for industrial products and daily necessities, ranging from small household appliances, refrigerator, water heater to construction, automobile and shipping.  Chemical industry, especially new chemical materials not only exists in the form of traditional bulk chemicals, but also changes our life by continuously meeting our needs while our living stardards are raised.
The BRICS are developing countries with emerging markets.  Russia, for example, has a good basis for cooperation with China in the long history of petroleum, natural gas and other energy industries.  Chinese and Russian governments cooperate in politics and energy, and have a bright future for cooperation in construction, household appliances, and transportation infrastructure.  At present, Chinese companies do business in Russia together, cooperate actively in trade under the Belt and Road strategy, and invest in a number of industrial parks for production in order to respond to the local market demands more quickly. Yadong Group has provided polyurethane insulation material for oil transmission pipeline projects and insulation energy saving solutions in the construction industry in Russia for many years.

Mr. Wu Yadong, GM of Yadong Group, said, " Although BRICS are all developing countries with emerging markets, they have respetive unique styles in economy, population, and social development level etc. due to different cultural backgrounds. This creates challenges to Chinese chemical enterprises in the process of cooperation with them in cross-cultural communication. We are fully aware of this.  We set up an innovation center in Shanghai Free Trade Zone at the beginning of last year, recruiting talents with overseas or World 500 background to develop international markets.  This year, Yadong Group pioneered in adopting Oracle ERP Cloud in the chemical industry, fully respecting local business practices and strengthening the cooperation and innovation through the international team and vision."

Mr. Jin Yi, GM of Shanghai Yadong said, "We have a long history of trade with BRICS, providing quality products to the BRICS countries, cooperating with BRICS through excellent technology and products, and opening up new future cooperation.  We improve the quality of life in developing countries, for example, Brazil needs flexible polyurethane foam for home furnishing, Russia needs insulation polyurethane foam for oil transportation pipelines, India needs polyurethane sheet applications for refrigerators. In addition, overseas investment can also help those countries with no large enterprises to achieve local supply as soon as possible, develop with Chinese advanced technology and production experience, reduce dependence on imports, avoid exchange rate fluctuations, and provide local employment opportunities. Of course, this also requires the support and protection from the countries."

“From China To the World”, this year marks the 25th anniversary of Yadong.

We welcome BRICS Business Forum in Xiamen, and wish the conference a complete success!
